It's easy to operate and has several good-to-better-than-good sounds that can be used as an aid for writing and a "grab-and-go" gigging tool. It has a sturdy metal Construction and inexpensive. The LCD screen is not easy to see from an angle due to reflected light, but there is Bluetooth connectivity. The pedal has a range of effects, but there is no bypass to play without effects, and it can't be powered off without unplugging. The instructions for navigating through the many different options could have been clearer. The GE250 is not suitable for an acoustic guitar unless it's amplified (e.g. electro-acoustic), and there is no gig bag available.
