It can move a 500 lb. gun safe with ease, but it is just a little too short to use on tall things like refrigerators. The toe plate is metal and the height from floor to top of handles when angled is about 33 inches. However, one reviewer finds it not ergonomically efficient and struggles to use it with palms not resting on the handle. Another reviewer had quality issues, with marks and scratches seeming to indicate it was already used. Another mentions that the tires started to run on the inside making it hard to pull and noisy, and decided to return it.
