The Xantrex 808-9001 PROwatt SW Remote Switch is a manual remote switch used to turn the inverter on and off from a distance. It is super easy to install and works like a champ. The installation is great, and the product looks nice. A template to cut a hole on the mounting surface is included and makes it easy to install. This product is a great way to run a refrigerator in an RV without using dangerous propane. However, the company does not make a unit that has a display like on the converter itself. One problem with this product is that the short cable doesn't reach far enough, and the RJ11 cable bought to replace it is not compatible. Overall, it is an easy-to-use product that makes life easier.
