Nutritionist's Take
The Amazing Detecto DR660 Digital Bariatric Scale is well-regarded among nutritionists for its accuracy and capacity, supporting users up to 660 pounds. This scale provides precision readings, which are crucial for those managing obesity and related health issues. By allowing accurate weight monitoring, it can aid in tracking progress in weight management plans. However, some nutritionists note potential drawbacks, such as its bulkiness and the necessity for regular calibration to maintain accuracy. Overall, the scale is a suitable tool for both individuals and healthcare providers, promoting better health management. While it does not have any direct nutritional claims or ingredients, it plays an essential role in monitoring weight—a critical aspect of dietary health, especially for individuals with specific dietary needs or weight-related conditions.
Detecto Digital Editorial Review
The Detecto DR660 Digital Bariatric Scale has received mixed reviews from customers. While some have had issues with the quality of the product and difficulty with returning it, others have found it to be a useful tool for accurately weighing people, especially those who are obese. The wide platform and portability are also appreciated. However, there are some complaints about the scale being made in China and not meeting the same standards as a true Detecto scale. Other issues include a poorly anchored data cord and a too-short cord that results in an absurdly low mounting position. Despite its flaws, some customers have found the scale to meet their needs.
