The MAPEX Snare Drum BPCW4600CNW is a visually appealing 12-inch navy blue drum that produces relaxing and beautiful sounds. Its overall sound quality is great, and it resonates well. The rubber mallets that come with it are decent quality, but it would have been better if a plastic mallet stand was included. While one note is slightly out of tune and cannot be fixed, and where the mallet hits the tongue would affect tune, sound quality, and resonance, the drum still works as expected and sounds fine. It can be played using the little wooden sticks it comes with or bare hands for better resonance. Buyers should note that the drum is in the key of C.
